Every great journey begins with a bold step. Ours started in 2020 with The Popsicle Studio, our creative lighting design studio in Mauritius. Amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we took a leap of faith, not only as business partners but also as life partners. What began as a challenge turned into a meaningful venture that has shaped our lives both professionally and personally.
Brian, co-founder and Creative Director, studied Interior Architecture & Design at IADT in Montreal, Canada. After graduating, he returned to Mauritius to pursue his passion. With over 20 years of experience in interior design and nearly a decade specializing in lighting design Brian leads the creative vision of our studio, crafting spaces where light becomes a language of design. Grace, co-founder and Operations Director, holds a BA in Law and Management and began her career in commerce and international trade. Today, she drives the operational and strategic side of the business, handling everything from administration to import/export management, ensuring that our clients receive seamless service and quality products.
Together, we balance entrepreneurship and parenthood, constantly evolving as our studio grows. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible clients from diverse backgrounds, passionate local suppliers, and talented partners across Europe.
As our journey has progressed, we’ve partnered with renowned lighting brands to offer a curated selection of both decorative and technical lighting solutions. Our goal is not only to meet our clients’ expectations, but to exceed them through innovative design, exceptional quality, and personalised service.
